Shows to Binge Watch on Winter Break

It's finally winter break! Now there's a little bit of time to relax and watch some TV. Here are five shows that I think you'll really like.

Merlin
It's a BBC show set in the kingdom of Camelot, which follows Merlin (the wizard) and King Author on their adventures. This is definitely my favorite show. The first episode was good, but the rest were amazing. There are all 5 seasons on Netflix. This one is a must watch!

Once Upon a Time
You will love Once Upon a Time if you like Disney. The show is about all your favorite Disney characters being cursed and having to live in the real world while Snow White's daughter, Emma, has to break the curse. There are 4 seasons on Netflix and the current season is on Hulu. It's suspenseful and is definitely one of my favorite shows.

Flash
Barry Allen is given super speed after an accident and uses his powers to solve crimes. This show has been super popular and the first season is on Netflix. The episodes I've seen so far were good.

Jessie
Jessie is a Disney Channel show starring Debby Ryan.  You probably remember her as Bailey from Suite Life on Deck. It's light-hearted and funny. Perfect for when you're stressed out or tired and you don't want to watch something that you really have to think about. The entire series is on Netflix now.

Sleepy Hollow
The show is set in Sleepy Hollow, New York.  Ichabod Crane dies during the civil war and is resurrected in present day. Sleepy Hollow follows him as he tries to stop the headless horseman and an upcoming apocalypse. You can check this one out on Hulu. I really like the show and need to catch up on some episodes.

Check out these shows and tell me what you think! Also, comment what shows you will be watching over winter break. I hope everyone has a great holiday!

Cheap Date Ideas + Outfit

Hey everyone! Today, I have 5 date night ideas if you're on a tight budget plus a his and her outfit at the end of the post. Let's get started!

1) Cook/Bake Together
Instead of going out to eat, stay in and cook dinner together. Since the holidays are coming up, bake and decorate some cookies.

2) Movie Night
You could go to the movies, but that can get pricey. Stay in and have a Netflix movie night.

3) Volunteer Together
You could walk dogs at your local shelter, help with a fundraiser, or with events at a local library.  Find something that interests both of you.

4) Picnic
Another alternative to going to a restaurant is having a picnic in the park.

5) Go For a Run
You're sure to find a 5K or fun run close by, so why not go for a run together?

Hers:
• Micro-Ribbed Skater Dress in Plum from Forever 21 (this is a super cute color for fall)
• Quilted Faux Leather Moto Jacket from Forever 21
• Opaque Tights in Black from Target
I'm really loving this outfit (& will probably wear it to go shopping) and it would look great with a pair of black booties. If you need help finding some check out my fall boots guide post.
His:
• Original Straight Extreme Flex Jeans from American Eagle
• French Terry Zip Up Hoodie from Tommy John
• Ringer Pocket Tee in Dress Blue/Black from Tommy John
This outfit would look good with a pair of black Converse.

If you want the T-shirt or hoodie in the guy's outfit, go to tommyjohn.com. Tommy John will take 15% off your first order (no code required). I'd like to thank Tommy John for this post idea!

DIY Girls Halloween Costumes

Hi everyone! Halloween is hands down my favorite holiday. I love decorating, picking pumpkins, dressing up, and going out for candy! It's only a few days away, so if you don't have a costume yet, it's time to get started! I put together some fast Halloween costume ideas that are cheap to put together and comfortable to wear. You can probably adapt most of these costumes to stuff you already have in your closet.

Take it back to the 90's and dress up as Kim Possible this year. Comment below if you loved this show!
• 3 Pack Gloves in Black from H&M - $5.95 (you can probably go to Target or Walmart and get one pair for a few bucks)
• Long Sleeve Crop Top in Black from Wet Seal - $9.90
• Black Converse from Famous Footwear - $49.99 (if you don't have black sneakers, you could wear a pair of black boots, too.)

Sugar skulls have been super in this year! This is my costume this Halloween, but instead of the dress, I have a black skirt with red roses. I'm going to add a black faux leather jacket to complete the look.
• Day of the Dead Lace Up Dress from Hot Topic - $39.60
• Day of the Dead Sugar Skull Face Temporary Tattoo from Hot       Topic - $5
• Skeleton Tights from Hot Topic - $12.50
• Madden Girl Gamer Lace Up Boots from Famous Footwear - $50

Dress up as the savior, Emma Swan, from Once Upon a Time. This is one of my favorite shows. You could wear gray, long sleeves to make it a little warmer.
• Quilted Faux Leather Jacket in Burgundy from Forever 21 - $24.90
• Jeans
• Sheriff Badge from Party City - $2.99
• Jersey Top in Gray Melange from H&M - $5.99
• Rocket Dog Calypso Boots from Famous Footwear - $69.99

Fall Boots Guide: 2015

Hi everyone! My favorite things about fall are apples, pumpkins, Halloween and boots!  Today, I put together a shopping guide for different types of boots.  I probably own more boots than any other kind of shoe. Since I have wide feet, Madden Girl is always my go-to brand.  That's why there are so many of those in the pics below.  So, let's get right to it.

Combat Boots:

1. Timberland Women's Brookton 6-inch Classic Boots
I own a pair of these and they are super comfy, because they are actually work boots. I love the touches of pink on them. Timberland boots can be pricy but I got these at the outlet for a decent price.

2. Rocket Dog Women's Calypso Boot in Brown and Black

I tried these on at Famous Footwear the other day and they are decently comfortable. The brown ones remind me of something Jane from Tarzan would wear. What do you think?

3. Madden Girl Highlander Fold-Down Boot in Brown and Black from Delias

4. Madden Girl Women's Maavin Combat Boot in Black from Famous Footwear
I bought a pair like these in black and brown last year. I absolutely love them because they're super comfy!

Rain Boots:

1. Women's Classic Knee High Rain Boots in Fuchsia from Target
These would be super cute with a black rain coat.

2. Steve Madden 'North Pole' Boot from Delias
These come in a few different colors and are super cute. I like that they are all-weather boots.

Ankle Boots:

1. Madden Girl Women's Draaft Ankle Boot from Famous Footwear in Black and Brown

2. AEO Double Zip Suede Bootie in Burgundy from American Eagle
I have a different pair of red boots and they are a really cute way to add a pop of color to an outfit.

3. AEO Side Fringe Heeled Bootie from American Eagle

4. Carlos by Carlos Santana Women's Ashton Boots from Famous Footwear
These aren't really ankle boots, but they didn't fit into the other categories. I have an older version of these boots from a few years ago and I love them.

Riding Boots:

1. Madden Girl Eventt Riding Boot in Cognac from Famous Footwear

2. Madden Girl Women's Master Wide Calf Boot in Grey from Famous Footwear

3. Madden Girl Women's Cactuss Boot in Brown from Famous Footwear
I bought these a few weeks ago and completely adore them! They are actually a little darker (red-brown) than the picture.

Once you have a good pair of boots, they will be your staple item all fall. Comment below on your favorite pair of boots and your favorite things about fall!

DIY Girls Backpack Kit + Essentials

This is the final post in the three part back to school series. If you missed part one and two I'll have links at the bottom of the post. I'm going to show you how to put together a kit for your backpack and some other backpack essentials to help you get ready for school. I guarantee you or your friends will need at least one of these things throughout the year.

I got this super cute elephant pouch at Hollister. Now let's get to what's inside.

1) Oil Blotting Wipes
I got the NYX Green Tea Blotting Paper at Ulta. It's great because it doesn't take off your makeup
2) Concealer
To fix anything throughout the day. I use Physicians Formula right now, but I might look for a new one. Comment any suggestions.
3) Eye Makeup Remover
I got these at Ulta and it's perfect for if you mascara or eye liner smudges.
4) Mini Nail File
Again, I got these at Ulta. They came in a three pack and were pretty inexpensive.  In case you break a nail, you can take care of it right away.

1) Hair Brush
This one is pretty self explanatory.
2) Hair Tie Carabiner
I saw this in a Bethany Motta video & thought it was genius. Just put your hair ties on a carabiner clip so that there not all over the bottom of you bag. I got the carabiner clip for under $2 at Lowes.
3) Bobby Pins
Because you always need them and somehow always lose them. I like to keep two or three in my bag.

1) Lotion
I love Eos lotion because it's a good travel size & it smells really good.
2) Chapstick
Because no one should have to walk around with dry lips. I love Eos
3) Band Aids
4) Eye Drops (if you wear contacts)
5) Stain Remover Wipes
I got these Shout stain remover wipes at Target and they actually work pretty well.

1) Headphones
I have Yurbuds that I got on Amazon
2) Charger Stick/Backup Battery
I have a Justin Power stick that I got from Bonton. I usually charge it overnight so it's ready to go the next day.
3) Phone Charger Cord
I got this blue one on Amazon.

Backpack essentials that might not fit in your kit:
Mini Lint Roller
Snack
Mini Deodorant
Girly Things (pads, tampons, etc.)

Back to School Series: #sparklestylebts

Comment any essentials I left out or any life hacks you have for back to school.

2015 School Supplies Haul

Here is part two of the three part back to school series. I did my back to school shopping a few weeks ago and I shopped at Target, Victoria Secret, Amazon, and Hollister. My favorite part of back to school is buying all the cute supplies. I didn't have to buy too much this year, because I still have some binders from last year that I'm just going to re decorate.

First thing I got is a gray backpack from PINK and a maroon elephant pouch from Hollister to keep in my backpack.

Next I made a trip to Target and got lots of stuff.

I couldn't fit everything into one picture, so here are all my notebooks and folders.
I got two Mead notebooks, one with pink, gold, and white polka dots and one with pink, gold, coral, and purple circle designs. I got a pink and gold Green Room notebook, this one is my favorite even though it was a bit expensive. I also got two folders one Mead one that matches my notebook and a plain black Gartner Studios one that I got on clearance. Lastly I got two thicker Mead notebooks a navy blue three subject one and a black five subject one (I'll decorate them with washi tape).

Here's the rest of my Target trip, I got coral and teal Avery binders, and some Avery tabs that go with the coral binder and match my other notebook and folder. I just think that pink, coral, and gold design is so cute. I got some sparkly pink stickers to decorate my black folder with, some Up & Up index card holders (I'm going to decorate them with washi tape), and some Post It tabs.
Then I ordered some stuff on Amazon, last year was the first year that I used these and I absolutely love them. I will never go back to regular highlighters, markers or pens after these. They are Pilot FriXion Clicker Retractable Erasable Gel Pens,
Pilot FriXion Colors Erasable Markers,
Pilot Frixion Light Fluorescent Ink Erasable Highlighter Pens. I also ordered an ombré planner from PINK.

Fast & Easy Breakfast Muffin

Hi everyone! This is part one of my three part back to school series. Today I have a fast and healthy microwave muffin recipe that you can make in under five minutes. I'm a big breakfast eater, so I have this with a little something else, but if you don't like to eat breakfast or are running late this is great, because it's filling. It also makes a good snack.
I originally got the recipe from Blogilates (Click here), but I modified it.

It's not the prettiest breakfast, but its yummy.

You need:
Coffee mug
1/4 cup Quaker quick oats
1tsp. Sugar (or your favorite sweetener)
1tsp. Protein powder
1tbs. Milk (I use soy milk)
1 Egg white
Fruit of choice

Put all the ingredients in the coffee mug and mix it together. Today I made it with a small handful of cinnamon chips, I've also made it with mashed banana (I used a quarter of the banana). You can really use any fruit or nuts you like or even add chocolate chips.
Put it in the microwave for 1 minute, if it's not done then put it back in for 30 second intervals until it looks firm. That's all there is to it. You can even put all the dry ingredients in a bag ahead of time so it's quicker to make in the morning.
The protein powder I use is called NutriBiotic Rice in vanilla and I get it from Vitamin Shoppe.

Let me know what you add to your muffins! Tomorrow I'll post my school supplies haul and Sunday will be a DIY backpack kit. Follow me on Bloglovin, Pinterest, and Google+. Click here for sign up for my monthly newsletter to stay up to date on posts, giveaways, and more.

OOTD: 8/9/15

Hi everyone! Today's post is a little different, it's my outfit for the day. I just love it, because it's super comfy and cute which is why I had to share it with you.  Today I'm doing some back to school shopping (I'll have a haul post up next weekend) and meeting up with a friend at Starbucks. Here it is!

I got the the white Easy V Pocket Tee from Abercrombie, the Patterned Drapey Shorts from Hollister on clearance (I love that they're long, comfy, and have pockets), and the sunglasses are from Hot Topic. I loosely tucked the shirt in and threw on some silver flip flops. Comfy, but cute it's perfect for a day of shopping. This might be a good outfit for school too, because the shorts are longer than finger tip length (at least on me they are).

Comment below what you think & if you want to see more posts like this. I love to hear from you! As always, follow me on Bloglovin, Pinterest, and Google+. You can also sign up for the monthly newsletter here

Red Queen Book Club

Hey everyone! This months book club is on "Red Queen" by Victoria Aveyard. If you haven't read the book click here to read my spoiler free summary/review of it on "Books at Tea Time" and don't read any further on this post.
Let's get right down to it. Be sure to answer at least one of the questions below and rate the book. I would love to hear from you!

image via epicreads.com

I give Red Queen 5 out of 5 stars, it's now one of my favorite books and I will definitely re-read it. It is so well written and is just overall amazing. I recommended it to everyone. Ok, I'm done gushing about the book now.
First lets talk about the characters, who was your favorite? I honesty think its hard to choose, but probably Mare and Cal. Mare, the heroine of the story, is strong, determined, and will fight for what she believes in (all the makings of a great female character)—even though she ultimately becomes a pawn, she still tries to control the game.
A lot of people complained about this, but I honestly didn't mind that the story  has similarities to Hunger Games and Divergent. I think that anyone who liked the Hunger Games or Divergent series will love it though. Did it the similarities bother you? There is a capitol (like in Hunger Games), there are the poor, regular people and then the high-tech, wealthy people in the capitol (again like Hunger Games), lastly Mare and other people like her who have silver abilities and red blood are seen as a threat to the system (like Divergents).
Do you think Cal and Mare could still be together (I sure hope so)? Or do you think Mare could end up with Kilorn?
Lastly, what did you think of that betrayal? Did you see it coming? I know I didn't, it was mind blowing.

Other questions:
• If it were made into a movie who would you want to play your favorite character?
• Would you have changed how the book ended?

Congratulations to Daria for winning last months Paper Towns Giveaway! Hope you enjoy the book!
Next month, we will read "Snow like Ashes" by Sara Raasch.

Paper Towns Giveaway & Book Club

Hey everyone! This is the first of the monthly book clubs that I'm going to have on this blog, I will also be writing book reviews once a month on the blog, Books at Tea Time, so make sure you check that out. Its going to have young adult book reviews (written by yours truly) and adult book reviews. So this month I read Paper Towns by John Green, if you haven't read the book yet go check out my summary/review to see if it's something you'd like to read (CLICK HERE) and enter in the giveaway if you want to win the book. Next month we will be reading Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard!

I'm giving away 1 hardcover copy of Paper Towns to celebrate the new blog and the start of my monthly book club. The same giveaway is happening on my book review post. It's the same giveaway though. If you enter here, then you don't enter over there and vise versa. Good Luck! you haven't read the book, stop reading right now! SPOILER ALERT!
If you have read the book, welcome! The book club is down below.

Image via JohnGreenBooks.com
Here's what I thought of the book, like any John Green book it is was well written and had some parts that are so deep it makes you stop and think about life. Even though I waited the whole book, I'm glad Q final got to tell Margo how he felt and in the end Q did become the heroic, adventurous, and confident guy that would die for Margo like she wrote about in her book (remember he was almost killed by a cow). Did you like Q's character better at the beginning of the book or the end? He went through a huge transformation, just finding out who he is and such as the book went on and you definitely see a deeper, more adventurous, confident, and overall just him being more sure of himself at the end of the book—at least I thought so. Q and Margo aren't the only character though, I like that there is so much detail about his friends even though they aren't the main characters and I honestly liked all of them, because they all had such different personalities and stories. The ending I would say was honestly kind of realistic, because it would have been ridiculous if Q had stayed behind with Margo. I do wish though, that the book ended when they met back up in the summer. I loved that it didn't have a sad ending though. I would say that i give paper towns 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

Here are some questions just to get the discussion rolling. Comment down below and add to the conversation.
Who was your favorite character?
Mine are Q, Margo, & Radar.

Are you happy with who is playing he or she in the movie?
I think Nat Wolff is a pretty good fit for Q and I pictured Margo looking different than Cara Delevingne, but still think she's a good fit and not sure who's playing Radar yet.

Do you like how it ended? Would you have done anything differently?
I honestly liked how it ended, but I was hoping that it would have ended when they meet up in the summer. I like that it still implied that they'll be together though. He gave it a strong ending, which is good.

Are you going to see the movie?
I will.

Would you read other John Green books after reading this?
Yeah, I probably will.

Was this the first book by John Green you have read?
Nope, I read the fault in our stars before this.

So please join in on the discussion, comment below your answer to one or more of these questions & enter the giveaway. Comment any suggestions you have for future book clubs. Don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin, Pinterest, and Google +. Also, share this with your friends that like the book.
For those of you that are new to my blog, you can sign up for my monthly newsletter which has all the posts from the month, quotes, and other updates/announcements. To sign up for that you can click here or fill out the form in the sidebar. :)

Girl Power Quotes that Will Motivate You!

Hey everyone! I put together some girl power and motivational quotes that will have you ready to take on the week! I recently got Demi Lovato's book "Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year" and I love reading a quote and her commentary on it every morning. That's what actually inspired this post. Speaking of which, let's get right into it!

"Don't be afraid to speak up for yourself. Keep fighting for your dreams!" - Gabby Douglass

"You can't be afraid of what people are going to say, because your never going to make everyone happy." - Selena Gomez

"You need to find the power within to make [things] happen for yourself. When you realize this, you are unstoppable." - Christina Aguilera

"Power to me is having the ability to make a change in a positive way." - Victoria Justice

"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, 'I will try again tomorrow.'" - Mary Anne Radmacher

"Never let anyone try and make you into something that you're not. Remember what it is that you want, and always stay strong in that." - Abigail Breslin

"Never be ashamed of what you feel. You have the right to feel any emotion that you want, and to do what makes you happy." - Demi Lovato

"I think that it is very important if you know what you want, understand where you are heading towards, and try your best to get it. It is only when we use our hearts to do it, and fall in love with what we are doing, then can we really get real determination." - Emma Watson

"To regret is to be disappointed with yourself and your choices. Those who are wise, see their life like stepping stones across a river. Everyone misses a stone from time to time. No one can cross the river without getting wet. Success is measured by your arrival on the other side, not on how muddy your shoes are." - a quote from the Tigers Curse series by Colleen Houck

If reading all those quotes didn't motivate you, I don't know what will. I hope y'all have a great week and you get closer to reaching any goals that you have. What is a goal you're working towards? If you would like a part 2 to this post with more motivational quotes, let me know in the comments.
Also, if you like quotes like these in my monthly news letter I send out all the blog posts from the month, a quote, and other updates/giveaways. You can sign up for that by clicking here or in the side bar.  Don't forget to follow on Bloglovin (my goal is 100 by the end of 2015), Pinterest, Google+

Interview with Sonali (aka SoNarly Prabhu)!!

Hey everyone! Last week I got the chance to interview YouTube beauty guru and blogger, Sonali (aka SoNarly Prabhu)! This is my first interview, so I've been super excited. I contacted Sonali and after she agreed to do the interview, we emailed back & forth with 10 questions. She is super friendly and great to work with. I'll put links to her YouTube, blog, and social media at the end of the post.

image via Sonila's twitter

Sonali Prabhu is a senior in high school and will soon be in college at UCF. She started making videos about a year ago and has over 4,000 subscribers. Want to get to know her more? Keep reading.

Me: What is your favorite place that you've traveled to?
SP: I really loved the Maldives! It was so cool to be able to go snorkeling in my "backyard" of my hut!

Me: What are your favorite places to shop?
SP: I love forever 21! It's crazy affordable and it eventually had everything that free people, urban outfitters, etc has!

Me: Who are your favorite Youtubers?
SP:
I love watching Aspyn Ovard, Mylifeaseva, Alisha Marie, and Sierra Marie Makeup they do really fun lifestyle videos! I also love Tori Sterling for makeup tutorials!

Me: Will you continue making videos in college?
SP:
YES of course I will! I'm pretty excited to be going to orlando because that means many more filming locations like the beach and disney! I guess the thing I'm going to struggle with is finding someone who doesn't mind filming me here and there because right now my mom does my filming (and a tripod of course)!

Me: Do you have any advice for anyone starting a channel?
SP: I hate to be basic, but I think it helps if you're consistently posting videos! Because I know it kills me inside when my favorite youtubers don't post for two weeks! I think it's also important to think how much money and time you really want to put it because to be honest I don't even want to think about how much I spent on camera equipment to make my videos better. Some people say that quality doesn't matter if you're content is good, but I would rather watch a better quality video that goes for 2 minutes than a bad quality video that goes for 10 minutes. Wow sorry I ramble a lot!

Me: Which is your favorite video that you've filmed?
SP:
I think it would have to be my prom video and also my indian princess inspired makeup! I think it's super cool because my first prom get ready with me was my most popular video and that makes sense because so many girls want to save money by doing their own makeup and hair so this year I made sure to make my prom video the best!

Me: What are your favorite songs at the moment?
SP: This is a hard one! I hate naming my favorites because I just like a lot of different things, but I like:

-House Party by Sam Hunt
-Love You Like That by Canaan Smith
-Flex (ooh ooh ooh) by Rich Homie Quan
-Stitches by Shawn Mendes
-Lean On by Major Lazer

Me: What are your plans for the future? Career, YouTube, etc.
SP: I'm going to be studying Business or something in that field and maybe minor in Digital Media or Radio/ Television so my long term goal would to be working with E! Network one day but for now I really don't know what's going to happen! I'm hoping my channel grows during college!

Me: What makeup item could you not live without?
SP:
mascara! I could definitely just wear mascara and feel confident!

Me: Who or what inspired you to start making videos?
SP: Well I had a gifboom and a lot of people asked my questions on how i curled my hair or did my makeup so I decided to just start making Youtube videos and at that time I was watching people like Bethany Mota so she definitely inspired me to make videos!

Here are the links—YOUTUBE, PINTEREST, INSTAGRAM, TWITTER, BLOG!
To be honest, I didn't even know she had a blog until I was getting social media links for this post, but I love it! It's perfect for high school and college students because not only does she have fashion and beauty stuff, but some great advice too. So, definitely check all those out. Comment down below if you already watch her videos or if you're going to start. Also, comment if I should do more interviews and who with.

How to Make Money on Your iPhone! + Newsletter Announcement

Todays' post is about how to make & save money on your iPhone. A lot of rewards apps are either too time consuming, take too many points to get anything or are hard to use, so I put together a list of the apps I use to save and make money. I have gotten a good amount of gift cards from these apps, so if you need some extra spending money this is an easy way to get it. I have 2 apps to make money and 2 to save money. Plus, at the end of the post I will tell you about the monthly newsletter. Let's get right into it!

1) iBotta

iBotta is a rebate app, when you buy an item that has a rebate you scan the item, then scan the receipt. Once you reach $10 you can get either the money right into your paypal account or as a gift card to places like Amazon, Express, Starbucks, etc. You can also get $2 for every friend that signs up. Some examples of rebates: 25¢ back on bread, $5 when you spend $25 on Express, $1 back on Naked drinks.

2) Shopkicks

With Shopkicks you don't have to buy anything to get points. You can get 30-150 points for walking into a store & 10-100 for scanning items. Then you can redeem your points for gift cards it takes 1250 points to get a $5 gift card & 2500 points to get $10, etc. If you use the app often the points rack up pretty quick. If you get the app through this link I will get matched 50% of the points you earn in the first two week. You can refer your friends too to get more points. http://get.shopkick.com/lead1663

3) Cartwheel

Cartwheel will save you money, it has discounts for target like 5-50% off certain items in the store.  All you do is add the discounts you want to use and it gives you a bar code for the cashier to scan. That's it.

4)

WellSpent is a bit different than the others, it's a budget app. I find that if my money is budgeted I won't spend extra on something. It's nicely set up, colorful, easy to use, and the best part is it's free.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER!
I'm excited about this—I'm starting a monthly newsletter. You'll get an email at the end of every month with all the months posts, updates, and a quote. If your on the computer there's a sign up box in the sidebar, if you're on your phone switch to the web version, then sign up in the sidebar. If you have any questions about it feel free to comment or email me.

Don't forget to comment & sign up for the newsletter. Have a great week! :)

Where to Buy Your Prom Dress: 2015 Edition

Hey! Today I've got some gorgeous prom dresses to show you. While you could spend hundreds of dollars on a dress, for most people that's just too expensive—down below I have some amazing dresses that are under $200. I've got a few for every budget, prom season is also the perfect time to buy sweet 16 or Quince dresses because everything is on sale. I will start with the most expensive (around $200) and end with the cheapest (around $40). Here is your go to prom look book!

$100 - $200:

Embellished Ball Gown (Juniors) from Nordstrom.com - $168.00 This looks like a modern Cinderella dress, it's one of my favorites.

B Darlin Juniors' Pleated High-Low Dress in Dark Coral from Macy's - $139 I think this is my favorite dress in the post, I love the color, high low design, and the cutout in the back.

Xscape Embellished Cutout Halter Gown in Black from Macys - $125 This one you could wear with black or gold heels.

'Selena' Embellished One Shoulder Ball Gown (Juniors) from Nordstrom.com - $119. This is a very elegant dress and I love that the back has a cut out design.

$60 - $99:

Trixxi Juniors' Rhinestone-Trim Gown in Coral from Macys - $99.99

Embellished One-Shoulder Fit and Flare Dress (Juniors) from Nordstrom - $92.00

B Darlin Juniors' Embellished Illusion Dress in Light Blue from Macys - $89.99
I love the rhinestone waist and the sheer top and back.

City Triangles Strapless Embellished-Bodice Fairy Tulle Dress from JC Penny - $89.99 this dress reminds me of a mini princess gown, I just love the rhinestone top—it's so detailed.

B Darlin Juniors' Rhinestone-Trim Dress in Light Orchid from Macys - $79.99 I just love the color of this dress it's perfect for spring plus it still has some details.

Love Reigns Strapless Beaded-Bodice Long Dress from JC Penny - $79.99 I love the detail at the top.

City Traingles Strapless Double Bar-Back High Low Hem Dress from JC Penny - $79.99 this is perfect if you love yellow and yellow is so in this year.

City Triangles Strapless Jeweled Keyhole Long Dress from JC Penny - $79.99

Under $60:

My Michelle Embellished One Shoulder Long Dress from JC Penny - $59.99
You could definitely go for a Greek goddess look with this. Again I love that this has the cutout back, so pretty.

'Morgan' Strapless Gown (Juniors) from Nordstrom - $59.40 this dress is so simple yet elegant and perfect if you love red.

My Michelle Strapless Glitter High-Low Dress from JC Penny in Light Blue - $44.99

Tips & Tricks:
• You can get these dresses even cheaper if you look for coupons. I've noticed during prom season macys often has 10% off & JC Penny will do x dollars off when u spend a certain amount.
If you go with a strapless dress pick up some fashion tape (Victoria Secret has it) so you don't have to worry about fixing your dress all night.

Hope this helps you with dress shopping or atleast give you some ideas. Comment below which one is your favorite!
